ENERGY PSYCHOLOGY / TAPPING

ENERGY PSYCHOLOGY, OR 'EP', IS A MASSIVELY POWERFUL TOOL FOR MANAGING, CONTROLLING OR ERADICATING DISTRESS SUCH AS DEPRESSION, ANXIETY, TRAUMA, PHOBIAS AND NEGATIVE HABITS OF ALL KINDS. BASED ON ANCIENT PRINCIPALS OF ACUPUNCTURE / ACUPRESSURE, TREATMENTS SUCH AS THOUGHT FIELD THERAPY, EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUE AND OTHERS THAT ARE FORMULATED FROM SIMILAR DISCIPLINES. RECOGNIZING THAT ENERGY IS POLARIZED AS IT FLOWS THROUGH US FROM BOTTOM TO TOP, AND CAN BE NEGATIVELY OR POSITIVELY SO. AS ENERGY HIGHWAYS MOVE UP THROUGH OUR BODIES UNDER OUR SKIN, THERE ARE POINTS ALONG THE WAY THAT BRING THE PATH CLOSER TO THE SURFACE, CALLED 'MERIDIANS'. ONCE A DIAGNOSIS OF OUR ENERGY'S STATE IS COMPLETE, OFTEN BY A QUALIFIED PSYCHOLOGIST USING A TECHNIQUE KNOWN AS 'MUSCLE TESTING', A PICTURE BEGINS TO TAKE SHAPE REGARDING THE STATUS OF THE ENERGY IN YOUR BODY. THE PROCESSES OF EP, AS I HAVE SAID, CAN YIELD AMAZING RESULTS WITH NO DRUGS. THAT BEING SAID, IT IS NOT MAGIC AND IT DOES NOT HAPPEN WITHOUT YOUR FULL PARTICIPATION. IF YOU WORK WITH A QUALIFIED ENERGY PSYCHOLOGIST, COME TO THE PROCESS IN AN OPEN, FOCUSED AND AWARE STATE. DURING THE TAPPING OR EMDR SEQUENCES, IT IS IMPORTANT TO STAY AWARE AND PRESENT IN THE ENERGY CORRECTION. IN THE CASE OF A TAPPING SEQUENCE, REMAINING THOUGHTFUL OF YOUR AFFIRMATION THROUGHOUT, CAN QUADRUPLE THE EFFECTIVENESS. FOR EMDR, STAYING HIGHLY FOCUSED AND AWARE ON THE IMAGES IN YOUR MIND THAT REPRESENT YOUR EMOTIONAL DISTURBANCE IS ALSO VERY NECESSARY TO SUCCESS.

I WOULD VENTURE TO SUGGEST THAT UP TO 80% OF PEOPLE WHO ARE CURRENTLY ON SOME FORM OF ANTI-DEPRESSANT / ANTI-ANXIETY MEDICATION WOULD BE BETTER SERVED, HAPPIER AND HEALTHIER ON AN EP REGIMENT. IF I FIND MYSELF SLIDING INTO DEPRESSION OR ANGER AND HOPELESSNESS LURKING AROUND MY MIND, IT IS ALMOST ALWAYS BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN LAZY ABOUT DOING MY ROUTINE ENERGY MAINTENANCE. IT IS EASIER TO TAKE A PILL BUT IN MANY CASES I DO NOT THINK IT IS BETTER. YOU NEED TO DO WHAT YOU NEED TO DO FOR YOU, HOWEVER, AND IF YOU SUFFER FROM DEPRESSION AND WOULD LIKE TO EXPLORE THESE EP OPTIONS, YOU SHOULD DO SO UNDER THE GUIDANCE OF A QUALIFIED AND TRAINED ENERGY PSYCHOLOGIST.
