QUANTUM - THE SCIENCE of SPIRITUALITY
Perhaps the greatest realization of my life has been that Spirituality and Science are not only not opposing ideas, but that they are actually one and the same. The nature of Science as a discipline dictates that nothing can be fact without being proven undeniably so in the physical realm. The nature of our Spiritual beliefs, however, are founded on "Faith", or "Belief". The sense of the 'fact' in these beliefs either stem from a great desire to trust that some of our gut feelings about life and the Universe are founded. Others have experienced what they are certain is the direct correlation of their Belief to an outcome in life, thereby proving for themselves that what they already believed is indeed true.
My study and subsequent experimentation has lead me to firmly believe that all of the above are correct, and that the benefit that spiritual thinkers have over their scientific counterparts is that they are willing to actively test their theories, wittingly or unwittingly, without an immediately plausible scientific basis. Their detriment is only a hindrance when their initial results in tests prove out ( prayers answered for example ) but they are unwilling to step back from the association of the belief in a specific religious doctrine to acknowledge that it seems quite clear that many others from multiple other religious dogmas have experienced, quite believably, the same outcomes. It would be prudent of me to stress that none of this focus is anti-religion at all. It simply is an encompassing, bird's-eye view or religion, spirituality, and science. The search for, and discovery of, the existence of a 'God Particle' that is responsible for all matter is crux of the next plateau of this journey. That this sub-atomic particle indeed exists at the core of everything is the first step in discovering what it is that in fact governs it's actions. That, I am confident, will be found to be an immense energy force steering, shifting, forming and altering everything in our experience. And that energy eventually will be proven to be our individual and collective Thought Energy.
There are a great many existing scientific facts that scream out 'All is not what it seems'. No announcements have been made to the public because no tangible, concrete evidence has been captured. The 'God Particle' is still elusive, although we know that it must be there. I would make an analogy to Newton's Law of Gravitational Force. In the year 1601, if you tossed an apple into the air it would return to you under the laws of gravity even though Newton's gravitational laws were first published in 1686. I would suggest metaphorically that we are able now to toss plenty of apples into the air and have them come down in many different ways as we experiment with and learn from this magical force. Our thoughts control and shape our experience in a much more powerful and direct way than we currently account for or utilize to our advantage.
